Johannes Hirsch

On a 500-year-old tenant farm in Kammern in the Kamptal, the Hirsch family devotes itself to winemaking with all its passion. Passionate biodynamicist Johannes Hirsch focuses all his attention on the Grüner Veltliner and Riesling varieties. However, his philosophy is: "The soil makes the wine." In his opinion, the site determines the character of the wines even more than the grape variety. Hirsch wines are therefore always wines of origin.
